Role Purpose:
We are seeking for enthusiastic, customer-focused, and energetic Waiters/Waitresses to join our restaurant team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering outstanding dining experiences by providing prompt, friendly, and professional service to guests. The role requires excellent communication skills, teamwork, attention to detail, and a passion for hospitality while maintaining the highest standards of food safety and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
Customer Service
Welcome guests warmly and escort them to their tables when required.
Present menus, explain menu items, promotions, and daily specials.
Take accurate food and beverage orders using the POS system.
Provide recommendations based on guest preferences.
Ensure guests receive exceptional service throughout their dining experience.
Handle guest requests, feedback, and complaints professionally, escalating concerns to the Restaurant Supervisor when necessary.
Food & Beverage Service
Serve food and beverages promptly and according to company service standards.
Ensure all orders are accurate before serving.
Monitor tables and anticipate guest needs throughout the meal.
Clear used dishes and maintain table cleanliness.
Prepare tables for new guests in a timely manner.
Restaurant Operations
Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the dining area, service stations, and assigned sections.
Ensure tables are properly set before service.
Follow food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards at all times.
Assist with opening and closing duties.
Refill condiments, cutlery, napkins, and other dining essentials.
Cash Handling & POS
Process customer bills accurately.
Handle cash, card, and digital payments according to company procedures.
Balance bills and ensure payment accuracy.
Teamwork
Work collaboratively with kitchen staff, cashiers, supervisors, and fellow team members.
Assist colleagues during busy service periods.
Participate in team meetings and training sessions.
Maintain a positive and professional attitude at all times.
Requirements
Excellent customer service skills.
Strong communication skills in English.
Arabic, Hindi, or other languages are an added advantage.
Basic POS system knowledge.
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills.
Professional appearance and positive attitude.
Good time management and organizational skills.
Ability to work under pressure.
Preferred Experience
1–2 years of experience as a Waiter/Waitress in a restaurant, café, or hospitality environment.
Experience in Quick Service Restaurants (QSR) or Casual Dining Restaurants is preferred.
UAE experience is an advantage but not mandatory.
