Impact & Sustainability
Arada Foundation
Launched in 2021, the Arada Foundation has been set up to consolidate and structure the group’s corporate social responsibility and philanthropic initiatives.
Arada Foundation extends responsibility beyond development, delivering long‑term global impact through trusted partnerships.
Home for a Home
For every home sold in our communities during Ramadan, we build one for a refugee family. Since the programme began, we’ve built 740 homes — across Kenya, Syria and Chad — and provided clean water for 42,000 people, with 2,105 homes committed.
A safe place to heal and rebuild
The Arada Foundation launched Arada House in Sydney in partnership with Women’s Community Shelters, creating a dedicated safe haven for women and children escaping domestic and family violence.
The initiative reflects the Foundation’s belief that safety is the foundation for recovery. By combining secure accommodation with practical support, Arada House is designed to help women and children regain confidence, rebuild their lives and move towards long-term independence.
Sustainability
Sustainability is designed in, not added on. Our developments include LEED Gold and WELL-certified projects; Arada CBD is Sharjah’s first WiredScore Platinum project. On-site solar generated 98+ MWh in 2025, our Shajar nursery holds 170,000 trees, and our head office is single-use-plastic-free. We published our first ESG Report in 2024 and report annually. Arada Academies
In a first of its kind initiative for Arada London, our Academies empower veterans, service leavers, reservists and their families – and local people furthest from employment too. We provide training in construction skills, retrofit and employment support at onsite in partnership with Building Heroes. Learn more here.
